The Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) began in 1981 and has been held annually since 1986 for 30 consecutive sessions. The exhibition was hosted by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and received strong support from the federal government of Latvia and the state government of Lagos. Exhibitors come from more than 20 countries including Africa, Europe, America and Asia. The audience is mainly from the ECOWAS countries. LITF is currently the largest and most influential exhibition in West Africa, and an important economic and trade cooperation and exchange platform in Africa.
Since 2017, the Chinese government has held the exhibition “PBC (Premium Mechatronic Brands China)” at the Lagos International Trade Fair (10 days) to build a large-scale Chinese mechanical and electrical boutique in West Africa. Trade exhibition, extended for 4 days.
